1st Impressions
| Serve as little as one Sunday a month. | We need friendly and outgoing people who can greet our guests in the parking lot as they arrive. Also, assist with traffic flow and pedestrian safety as needed, and direct people where to park in the special reserved spaces we have (handicapped, visitors/guests, mothers with small children). On rainy days this team uses umbrellas to help escort people from their vehicles. | |

Serve one month on and one month off or as often or little as your time allows. |
Greet people at the sanctuary doors, give out bulletins and other handouts as needed, collect the offering and help distribute communion elements. Also, assist people (especially late arrivals) to open seating. Must be friendly and outgoing to help make people feel welcomed to our weekend services. We especially need people for first (8:30am) and third service (11:45am). | |
| Medical Team | On-call during services, 1 - 2 times per month, especially 3rd service. | Individuals are responsible for providing first aid as needed during medical emergencies that occur during the worship services. Must have CPR, AED and Emergency 1st Aid Training that is current. |

Outreach
| Adopt-a-School Encouragement Team | Once a month | Choose a school in the Miami Valley; choose a day and time; encourage the administrators, teachers and staff by taking them a card or cookies. Let them know how much you appreciate their care of your children. |
| Adopt-a-School Prayer Walker | Once a month | Choose a school in the Miami Valley; choose a day and time; pray while walking the perimeter, on the public sidewalk, around the school and through the neighborhood surrounding the school. Pray for the children, teachers, administrators and staff. |
| Compassion 1st Sorter/Packer |
Saturdays, 10am - 12pm |
Sort incoming donations. Sort, pack and organize clothing and household items in preparation of delivery to our partnering organizations and/or individuals. |
Worship & Fine Arts

Provide sound, lighting, video, and PowerPoint reinforcement for Wednesday and Weekend services. | |

Provide a welcome to people attending weekday events after church office hours, a combination of greeter, receptionist and information attendant. | |

Jr. High

Run lights and sound for Jr. High’s Midweek Service - whether you have worked with sound before or not, no worries. We will train you! |
Marriage
| Mentor Couple | Typically 2 hrs every other week for duration of each assignment | For those who have a heart to help married and engaged couples, and are willing to share their marriage journey with others and help them prepare for marriage or help them through troubling times. |
Children’s
| Sunday Elementary Coach | Individual needed for every service, especially 3rd | Provide support to the Asst Director of Discovery Town by coordinating the elementary hallway through the following ways: Leading and managing volunteers during service times, recruiting volunteers, building relationships with parents and students, development of elementary programs, and problem solving issues that arise during service times. |
| Heart Huggers Special Needs Teacher |
Where needed, flexibility required |
Provides a safe, structured and loving atmosphere for special needs students. Responsibilities include lesson planning, snack facilitation, outburst or episode management and meeting the unique needs of each special needs child. |

Discipleship
| Pray- thru |
One service each month |
Pray in the Chapel during weekend Worship services. This prayer time is focused on seeking God's anointing for the service in progress, the service participants, and the congregation. Interested volunteers will meet with Pray Thru Leader on procedures and policies. |
| Prayer Chain |
Pray for the requests that come through the Prayer Chain |
Team members are links in a "chain" of people willing to pray for needs that have been submitted to the Prayer Chain. Prayer request are received by the Prayer Chain Leader and forwarded on to the team. Must have E-mail address and internet access, and a compassion for people's needs. |
