Resources

Hey Small Group Leaders:

We are so excited to pursue life together in groups!  We know that there are challenges and obstacles in growing to be like Jesus, but our goal is to see you healthy in your journey of faith.  Thank you for serving others by leading your group toward spiritual health and maturity.

We are constantly hearing your need for good resources.  Since CLC has started preaching through the Bible our Discipleship Team is thrilled to offer some resources that will sync up with the portions of the Bible that are being taught on the weekends.

As we go into the Winter of 2008, review these three excellent resources that will cover Exodus, Moses's life and practical principles for Holiness.  These resources are available for sale in the CLC Bookstore, feel free to drop in and check them out or e-mail Linda with any questions.

Of course, please refer to our expanded list of resources

Please feel free to sense God's direction for your group.  Use these tools to support your vision for the group or select your own.  Just remember that our goal is to invite people to follow the way of Jesus.  And that journey begins in relationship and ends in life application.

With Kevin and Sherry Harney
Consult the compass for the journey of your life. Life as a

Christian is   a journey—a journey toward God. But how do

you set your compass?   How do you make sure God is

guiding your steps and you are not  being blown willy-nilly by

life's shifting winds of circumstance?

Turn to the book of Exodus and discover guidance and joy

for your pilgrimage. Grow to know God in a deeper, more

personal way.  Learn to trust him more than ever before.

Discover who your fellow travelers are. And learn how to

chart your course by the compass of God's will as you take

the trip of your life. This study includes six sessions ideal

for group or individual study.

Thirty-five hundred years ago Moses came down from Mt. Sinai with a short list of rules that has shaped the values of men and nations for centuries. We know them as the Ten Commandments, but do we really know them? Some would argue that it is the Ten Commandments that set the stage for mankind to feel as if we must perform our way into God's good graces, but was that the reason they were given? In this five-part series, Andy Stanley dispels the common misconceptions about the Ten Commandments and reveals the role that they should play in our lives today.
