
More Than Conqueror’s prayer list for May

Ann Cannon asked for prayer for her husband, Mike, who is recovering from pneumonia;
Phyllis asked for prayer for her cancer check-up on Friday, hoping for a good report;
She also said that her son had found a job and that she was going to be a grandmother;
Tonya Marable asked for prayer for the grandchild of a friend;
Faye McNerney mentioned a young boy who was very ill and living with a foster family. The boy was recently sent back to South America and she asked for prayer for him to be returned to the US so that he could get the medical attention that was needed;
Mark mentioned that Donna Garmon’s sister was seriously ill and in the hospital
The Swaziland fund was only recorded for our class once, and that was on the weekend of March 30. The total is $325.00. The folks that count the money are on the lookout for our Swaziland pouch and will make note of the amount in the future. If you believe you have turned in the pouch more than once, the funds must have been added with all of the other Swaziland contributions.
More Than Conqueror’s prayer list for 5-11-2008
Donna Garmon’s sister died last week. The funeral is 5-13-08. Please pray for her and her family.
Suzanne – pray for a 37 year marriage of friends – that they would reconcile and “choose life” for their marriage. Also, Praise to our Lord for allowing me to be a mom and Granny of 5.
Howard – Praise that the family situation is doing ok .
Denny – Praise that he and Ann have walked 10K walks in all 50 states.
A couple of class notes to be attached to the web site: The flower fund is in good stead and Phil will be sending flower’s to Donna Garmon for the death of her sister.
The class members are invited to the 50th Anniversary celebration for Jack and Fran Trapp.
Phil is also looking for someone to help Roberta Bliss with our birthday card mailings for the class. It will take a couple of hours per week and you would alternate and do the mailings every other month.
The class also needs someone to help with the preparation of coffee prior to class on Sunday’s when Kathy Waldon is unablt to make it. Takes 10 prior to class and 5 minutes after class.
Prayer & Praise list for 5-25-2008
Praise – Daughter Lauren is going back to school – 18 month program starts Wednesday
Brenda starts to O.I.C. (Officer in Charge) detail for approx 8 weeks. Small office in Enon, Ohio – less stress M-F hours. Praise God. Keep praying for son Peter
Robyn – Prayer for the 2008 graduates. Pray for my family
Praise: Howard- Things are going well with the boys. Pray that things continue along a path of growth for us. Jasmine (daughter) is doing well and moving on with her education.
Phyllis Hartley – Praise appt at cancer doctor went well. Pray for my brother’s family’s salvation and a niece with a short term memory loss.
Ray – pray for a friend Roger Branham who has lung cancer.
Faye- boy from Indonesia coming to live with their family.
Cathy – son was in an accident and is ok.
Lee – sister Jeanne in Texas is doing ok and her husband is dealing with cancer.
Cheryl – please pray for my grandsons Brandon and Donovan. They are trying to transfer their jobs from Atlanta to Dayton. They don’t care for Atlanta.
A prayer request for the Bratton's:
Update: Baby Gabriel Stanton has had a slight turn for the worse. His blood levels are down. Doctors are now planning to go ahead with the heart surgery since he is already in the hospital. Please lift him up. This little guy has been through so much; pray for God’s protection and healing touch, a successful, smooth surgery and a quick recovery; pray that he has no more complications and please lift up Glenn and Hollee as they have been on a roller coaster of sorts for a month now.
I talked to my sister-in-law who works for Airborne/ABX/ DHL they received big incentives from the state of Ohio to stay in Wilmington. If they move lots of jobs will be lost and whole communities will be devastated. Please pray something can be worked out and 6000 jobs not be lost. Pat Roeller
Please continue to pray for Rick Pitzer, Barbara Friedly’s son-in-law. He had back surgery, been home a week and his recovery is going pretty slow.
Denny Bratton in Good Samaritan Hospital - feeling weak and pressure in his chest.
Harold has prostate cancer. He needs salvation as well as healing.
A WORD OF PRAISE- THE BRATTON'S GRANDAUGHTER WAS ALMOST BLIND. SHE WAS PRAYED FOR AT A CHURCH AND GOD COMPLETELY HEALED HER EYES!! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!!
